EA-IRMS Training 5th - 9th October 2015

Learn how to run your EA-IRMS system, generate data of excellent quality and maintain your equipment to reduce instrument downtime.

5 day course covers the generic use of combustion techniques for nitrogen, carbon and sulfur isotope analysis, and pyrolysis techniques for oxygen and hydrogen isotope analysis.

Modules include: System physical overview, EA-IRMS set-up, configuration and tuning for optimum performance, developing  analysis routines, compilation of different sample types, instrument calibration and data evaluation, performance monitoring, maintenance, and basic trouble shooting. Requirements for high temperature analysis; modifying instrument configuration, use of the vario Liquid sampler (if requested).

 

GC-IRMS Training 12th - 16th October 2014

Learn how to use your GC-IRMS system for the species you are interested in, change between different modes, develop your methods and produce excellent data.

5 day course covers the generic use of GC-IRMS techniques for carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and/or oxygen isotope analysis.

Modules include: System physical overview, GC-IRMS set-up, configuration and tuning for optimum performance, developing analysis routines, modifying instrument configuration, consideration of different sample types, instrument calibration and data evaluation, system optimisation, performance monitoring, maintenance, and basic trouble shooting.
